Visit from german tourists to our olive oil mill

On september 19th we received a visit from two groups of german tourists who came with the german touroperator Gebeco. We were very pleased to hear that it was not the touroperator who proposed the visit to the mill but that it was the german tourists who demanded the visit. It was a pleasure to be able to show them our bioclimatic mill.

Our mill is very characteristic beeing it a bioclimatic and design building. It is energy efficient, producing the energy that it consumes through its solar panels and the burning of the olive pit. The outside walls are covered with a vertical garden made of jasmin, a plant that grows well in Andalusia. The interior walls and ceiling are covered of stainless steel adding to the modern architecture of this mill which won a prize to best architecture of a mill the year that it was built.
