Gift Box 2x500ml Coupage & Picual

Coupage is produced from olives harvested from the oldest grove on the estate, 100 years old. These trees were planted following the traditional system and include three characteristic varieties from Baena: Picudo, Picual and Hojiblanco. It is a complex oil, which we like to compare to a symphony. The natural blending of the three olive varieties at harvest gives this oil its distinctive aromas and nuances.

Picual is produced from groves between 10 and 40 years old. The first olive trees at Suerte Alta were planted 100 years ago. The current owner, Manuel Heredia, continued this tradition with an intensive Picual plantation. This oil is characterized by its high polyphenol content, reaching up to 1400 mg/kg in drought years. It is a variety characteristic of the Baena Designation of Origin, one of the oldest Designations of Origin in Spain. It has a moderate bitterness and pungency, with aromas of almonds, tomato plant and citrus notes.
