Russian salad is one of those classics that never fails. The combination of potato, vegetables and a creamy mayonnaise becomes even more delicious when made with a quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil, bringing a more balanced flavour, a silky texture and an unmistakable Mediterranean touch.
At Suerte Alta, we believe that traditional recipes deserve exceptional ingredients. That is why we make this Russian salad with our Marqués de Prado Organic EVOO, an early-harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil that enhances every ingredient without masking it. Its smooth, fruity profile brings freshness, balance and that gourmet touch that turns a classic recipe into a dish full of flavour.

- Assemble the saladIn a serving dish, mix the potato, carrot, peas, chopped egg and tuna. Add the mayonnaise and fold everything together gently.
Notes
- We chose Marqués de Prado because it is a mild and sweet EVOO, ideal for smooth sauces such as mayonnaise, béchamel or carbonara.
- It keeps well for 2-3 days in the fridge, tightly covered.
- For a lighter version, replace some of the mayonnaise with Greek yoghurt.
- For a different touch, add some cooked prawns or piparras (pickled green chillies) on top when serving.
